Next meeting: December 16, 2009 at 10:30 a.m.  Group will discuss Renegade by Richard Wolffe.
 
In February this group is scheduled to read The Art of Politics and Science by Harold Varmus.

Woman's Suburban Democratic Club has a long- standing political book club and a newer one that began in 2008.   In one club, members meet at 10:30 in the morning on the third Wednesday of every other month (February, April, June, August, October, December)  in members' homes. If you are interested in joining the book club, contact Estelle Stone estelles@webv.net  or Irma Kramer neskram@msn.com .  We will post information about the newer club when we get it. 

 

The February 2009 book is American Creation, by Joseph Ellis. In April the group will read Ladies of Liberty: Women Who Shaped Our Nation, by Cokie Roberts.
