For 55 years, Woman’s Suburban Democratic Club has been an integral part of Montgomery County Maryland's proud tradition of activism and reform.  Eleanor Roosevelt spoke to our club at its first luncheon in 1957.  Since then, we've offered women (and men) lively exchanges with leading politicians, authors, academics, journalists and policy makers, as well as opportunities for political activism on the local, state and national levels.

Luncheon with Dee Dee Myers

Election 2012: The Politics, Personalities, and Possibilities of the Democratic and Republican Presidential Campaigns

Dee Dee will talk about the current state of play, as the race for the White House heats up. Who is the likely GOP nominee, and what are his strengths and weaknesses? How is President Obama's campaign trying to position him for a second term? What is the mood of the country and which issues will be the decisive ones in November?
